When you try to find the document again, it’s not in the folder you thought it was.You curse your computer and threaten it with physical violence (oh! is that just me?). Then, just as you’re about to lose the will to live and start over, it hits you.You forgot to change the folder destination!Instead of saving it where you thought you had, you’d actually saved your document into Outlook’s temporary folder.All you have to do is retrieve it from the Outlook Temp folder and move it to where you wanted it in the first place.But hold on a minute. Where IS the Outlook Temp folder?If, like me, you’re a multi-platform user, you’re probably quite familiar with locating temporary files on Windows. But on a mac, there are LOADS of hidden folders, including “TemporaryItems”, which is where your Outlook Temp Folder lives.Why it would be hidden, I have no idea. It seems odd to me, but there you go! Maybe another Apple user can answer that question.Anyway, the Outlook Temp folder is located in your Library’s “Caches” folder, although you might not be able to access it in the normal way, i.e.Focus is on “To” input filed and enter the email id. Move up and down arrow key while the focus is on folder pane to browse through the folders on the left-hand side. Press Ctrl+Shift+Tab to move between the folder pane, the main Outlook window, the reading pane, and the To-Do bar. The mail is moved to the desired location. Select the desired folder or tab to select “NEW” to Create a new folder. Press Ctrl+shift+V to display the Pop-up window with the folders. Use up and down arrow key to select the message to Flag. Ctrl+ Tab to focus the items on the reading pane and use up and down arrow key to select the email. The reading pane displays the search result. Enter the text in the search input field. Press F3 to focus the cursor on the Search input field. The focus is on the selected folder and items on the folder is displayed on the reading pane. Shift+Spacebar used to page up through text in the Reading Pane. Space bar used to page down through text in the Reading Pane. Press “Tab” key to select the date and press “Ok” to flag the message. Press FF to format the text. Press Alt+O to Display the Format menu. Press Ctrl+Comma to Switch to previous open message. Press Ctrl+Period to Switch to next open message. Press Ctrl+Shift+A to Create an appt in the calendar. Ctrl+ Enter to send the meeting request. Enter the required fields To, Subject, Location, and Message.
